Ni-Tc (Nickel-Technetium) P. Nash The assessed phase diagram for the Ni-Tc system is based primarily on the work of [75Spi], with review of the work of [63Dar]. [75Spi] determined that the system is a simple peritectic phase diagram with a peritectic temperature of 1495 C and composition of 29.4 at.% Tc. No intermediate phases were found. The solid solubility of Tc in (Ni) is 17 at.% at 1300 C, widening somewhat at higher temperatures. The solid solubility of Ni in (Tc) is approximately 40 at. % Ni at 1300 C. The superconducting transition temperature of Tc as a function of Ni content also was determined by [75Spi]. 63Dar: J.B. Darby, Jr., L.J. Norton, and J.W. Downey, J.
