Ni-Sc (Nickel-Scandium) P. Nash and Y.Y. Pan The assessed phase diagram for the Ni-Sc system is based on the data of [78Mar] and [84Mas], which show excellent agreement. The invariant temperatures determined by [78Mar] and [84Mas] differ by no more than the expected experimental error of с10 C. Over the range 0 to 36 at.% Sc, the values of [ 84Mas] have been selected for the assessed diagram because of the larger number of alloys studied in their investigation. The existence of five Ni-Sc intermetallic compounds is well established: NiSc2 [62Ald, 74Mar], NiSc [62Ald, 74Mar], Ni2Sc [61Dwi, 74Mar], Ni7Sc2 [68Goe], and Ni5Sc [68Goe, 74Mar].
