Ni-Ru (Nickel-Ruthenium) P. Nash The Ni-Ru phase diagram is a simple peritectic type with extensive terminal solid solutions. Although limited data have been published on this system, the general form of the equilibrium diagram is well established. The assessed phase diagram is based on review of the experimental data of [37Mar], [61Rau], and [64Kor]. [79Var] melt spun Ni-Ru alloys with compositions in the range 30 to 40 at.% Ru at cooling rates estimated to be 107 to 108 C/s. They were unable to obtain metastable extension of the (Ni) solid solution, but they did synthesize a metastable phase, designated h, with a tetragonal structure. 37Mar: V. Marian, Ann.
