Nb-W

Nb-W (Niobium-Tungsten) S.V. Nagender Naidu, A.M. Sriramamurthy, and P. Rama Rao The assessed Nb-W phase diagram belongs to the binary isomorphous category. A continuous series of solid solutions occur with a bcc structure between Nb and W at all temperatures. The assessed diagram is based on [69Rud], with review of the data of [58Kri], [58Mik], and [62Bar]. There is general agreement that Nb and W are completely miscible in both the liquid and solid states. [46Buc] and [61Eng] established the existence of a continuous series of solid solutions between Nb and W of the cI2, Im3m, A2, W type. 46Buc: H. Buckle, Z.
