Ir-Yb (Iridium-Ytterbium) H. Okamoto The Ir-Yb phase diagram is based on [76Ian] and [82Ian]. Ir2Yb may have a sizable homogeneity range on the Ir-rich side of stoichiometry, because the lattice parameter of Ir-rich Ir2Yb was considerably different from that of stoichiometric Ir2Yb [76Ian]. aIr3Yb5 was prepared by sintering at 900 C [ 82Ian]; therefore, the polymorphic transformation temperature of Ir3Yb5 must be higher than this temperature.
