In-Zr (Indium-Zirconium) H. Okamoto The assessed In-Zr phase diagram is tentative, because experimental information is scarce. The Zr-rich end (>75 at.% Zr) of the diagram is based on the studies of [58Bet2] and [59Lyu]. The melting reactions of intermediate compounds are probably not congruent type, because, according to the prediction of [69Das], In and Zr are immiscible in the liquid state. Addition of In to Zr stabilizes (aZr), as shown in the assessed diagram [ 58Bet1, 58Bet2, 62Uy]. The increase of the allotropic transformation temperature with increasing In content was calculated thermodynamically by [ 58Bet1]. The result was in qualitative agreement with the assessed diagram.
