In-Pb (Indium-Lead) J.P. Nabot and I. Ansara The assessed diagram is based on review of the work of [07Kur], [34Age], [ 38Val], [47Kle], [66Heu], [75Lia], [78Eva], and [78Mar]. [66Heu] confirmed the peritectic temperature obtained by previous investigators and suggested the existence of a miscibility gap in the composition range 46 to 65 at.% Pb based on resistivity measurements. [69Nem], who determined the phase diagram between -27 and 40 C using X-ray diffraction and superconductivity experiments, suggested that a segregation between the a and (Pb) phases occurred at low temperatures, but that it was not in the form of a miscibility gap. Their results indicated a narrowing of the stability range of these phases. [78Eva] reinvestigated the In-Pb phase diagram, and because there is uncertainty about the equilibrium position of the solidus, they took special precautions to avoid nonequilibrium effects. 07Kur: N.S.
