Bi-Th (Bismuth-Thorium) Editor The Bi-Th phase diagram is redrawn from [82Bor]. Congruent melting of Bi4Th3 and assignment of Bi2Th to the peritectic reaction at 1230 C are arbitrary. [ 58Rou] selected Bi4Th3 for the peritectic reaction. The metastability of BiTh cannot be ruled out [82Bor]. [69Dah] reported the possible existence of at least one compound with higher Th content than Bi3Th5. However, [82Bor] could not confirm any of them.--H.O. 57Fer: R.
