Ho-W (Holmium-Tungsten) S. Pandian, S.V. Nagender Naidu, and P. Rama Rao The assessed phase diagram for the Ho-W system is based on [66Den]. The eutectic in the system is suggested to be at or just below the melting point of Ho. The eutectic composition is assumed to correspond to the measured solubility of W in Ho at the melting point of Ho. Accordingly, the suggested eutectic temperature and composition are 1474 C and 0.075 at.% W, respectively. According to [66Den], the solubility values for W in liquid Ho are 0.075 at.% W at 1470 C, 0.249 at.% W at 1639 C, 0.589 at.% W at 1785 C, 0.517 at.% W at 1872 C, 1.798 at.% W at 2050 C, and 2.221 at.% W at 2072 C. 66Den: D.H.
