Ho-La (Holmium-Lanthanum) Editor The Ho-La phase diagram was drawn by [Moffatt] to indicate the qualitative features of the system quoted in [85Gsc]. This system is similar to Gd-La. In a study of the formation of the Sm-type structure in intra-rare-earth binary alloys, [66Lun] measured lattice spacings for several Ho-La compositions. He reported boundaries for the Sm-type structure as between 45 and 60 at.% La. The structure was dcph at higher La concentrations and cph at concentrations below 35 at.% La.-H.O. 66Lun: C.E.
