Gd-W (Gadolinium-Tungsten) S. Pandian, S.V. Nagender Naidu, and P. Rama Rao The only information available for the Gd-W system is the solubility data of W in liquid Gd reported by [66Den] and shown in the partial phase diagram. The probable eutectic in the system is at or just below the melting point of Gd. The measured solubility of W in (Gd) at the melting point of Gd is taken as the eutectic composition. Accordingly, the eutectic temperature and composition, respectively, are 1313 C and 0.0133 at.% W. According to [61Bae], there are no compounds in the Gd-W system. 61Bae: N.C. Baenziger and J.L.
