Co-Se

Co-Se (Cobalt-Selenium) Editor The liquidus boundaries of the Co-Se phase diagram were determined by [38Has] ( 0 to 40 at.%Se) and [72Kom] (40 to 70 at.% Se). Co1-xSe is hexagonal on the Co- rich side and monoclinic on the Se-rich side [55Boh]. These two forms appear to be separated by a two-phase field at low temperatures [55Boh] with a critical temperature at 530 C [78Cha], but the transition is gradual at high temperatures [55Boh]. The peritectoidal formation temperature of Co9Se8 (420 C) is taken from [72Kom], where the aCo = eCo transformation temperature was assumed to be 417 C, instead of the currently accepted 422 C.-H.O. 27Dej: W.F. deJong and H.W.V.
