Ce-Mn (Cerium-Manganese) A. Palenzona and S. Cirafici The assessed phase diagram for the Ce-Mn system is based on the work of [52Ian] , [57Mir], [64Tha], and [74Gsc]. Melting and transformation temperatures for pure elements have been corrected to the accepted values listed in [ Gschneidner]. [64Tha] stated the solubility of Mn is 5 at.% in (dCe) and 2 at.% in (gCe) at 638 C, but drops to less than 1 at.% at 600 C. On the Mn side no experimental data are available, but [52Ian] found the lattice parameter of aMn is unchanged in an alloy at 30 wt.% Mn, indicating very little or no solubility of Ce in (aMn) at room temperature. 52Ian: A.
