Ce-Lu (Cerium-Lutetium) K.A. Gschneidner, Jr. and F.W. Calderwood [62Gsc] conducted lattice parameter studies on several Ce-Lu alloys containing up to 4 at.% Lu. They observed that a Ce-10 at.% Lu alloy, quenched from 450 C, contained both the gCe (fcc) and the bCe (dcph) phases, whereas a Ce-20 at. % Lu alloy contained only the b phase. [69Har] reported lattice spacings for Lu metal and for a Ce-92.3 at.% Lu alloy (both cph phase).
