Ce-Er (Cerium-Erbium) K.A. Gschneidner, Jr. and F.W. Calderwood [62Gsc] conducted lattice parameter studies on a Ce-2 at.% Er alloy, and [ 67Nor] studied the Er-rich portion of the Ce-Er system. [69Har] noted a correlation between phase structures and the mean atomic number of an alloy in an intra-rare-earth binary system. They reported the Sm-type structure at 40 to 50 at.% Er.
