Cd-Mn (Cadmium-Manganese) J. Dutkiewicz The Cd-rich side of the Cd-Mn phase diagram is based on the liquid solubility data of [62Cha]. The eutectic composition was estimated to be 0.06 at.% Mn from extrapolation of the liquidus data to the eutectic temperature, and the maximum solid solubility of Mn in (Cd) was estimated by [72Ale] as less than 0. 05 at.% Mn from electrical resistivity measurements. The thermal analysis and X-ray study of [50Zwi] and [62Cha] up to 18 at.% Mn indicated that no intermetallic phases are formed. 50Zwi: U. Zwicker, Z.
