Cd-Cs (Cadmium-Cesium) A.D. Pelton No experimental phase diagram has been reported for the Cs-Cd system; the assessed phase diagram is estimated. The compound CsCd13 has been identified by X-ray and chemical analysis [38Zin] as being isotypic with KCd13, RbCd13, NaZn13, KZn13, and RbZn13. No other compounds have been reported. It is most probable that the phase diagram is similar to those of the K-Cd, Na- Zn, and K-Zn systems, which are characterized by one compound and liquid immiscibility. From the trends observed in the other alkali-Cd systems, it is estimated that the mutual solubilities of liquid Cs at 500 C are less than 1 at.%. 38Zin: E. Zintl and W. Haucke, Z.
