Bi-Er (Bismuth-Erbium) Editor The Bi-Er phase diagram was drawn by [Moffatt] on the basis of systematic trends observed in Bi-RE systems reported by [75Yos]. [82Yam] reported the solubility of Er in (Bi) to be greater than in (Sb), but less than in (Sn). In all instances, solubility is not greater than a few atomic percent, even at 800 C. [82Yam] also reported that the solubility of Er in (Bi) is 0.28 at.% at 525 C and 1.86 at.% at 825 C.-H.O. 75Yos: K. Yoshihara, J.B. Taylor, L.D. Calvert, and J.G. Despault, J.
