Be-Y (Beryllium-Yttrium) K.A. Gschneidner, Jr. and F.W. Calderwood The assessed phase diagram for the Y-Be system is based on the data of [59Lun]. [59Chu] reported the melting point of YBe13 to be 1600 с 300 C, which is in agreement, if the melting point is near the upper limit of 1900 C, with the melting point of ~1920 C reported by [59Lun]. The present evaluators have added the a = b horizontal for Be, assuming that Y has no influence on this allotropic transformation, because Y has little or no influence on the melting point of Be. 59Chu: W.
