B-Hf (Boron-Hafnium) Editor The B-Hf phase diagram is redrawn from [69Rud]. The liquidus boundaries, except for the melting point of B2Hf, are not well defined. Probably influenced by the report of [61Rud] that NaCl-type BHf [53Gla] is an impurity- stabilized phase, [72Por] proposed a similar phase diagram without the BHf phase. However, the existence of FeB-type BHf was confirmed in the temperature range 1200 to 2000 C [88Rog].
