Al-Eu (Aluminum-Europium) Editor The Al-Eu phase diagram was drawn by [Moffatt] presuming similarity to Al-Yb. Only two intermetallic compounds exist: Al4Eu and Al2Eu. No melting point or decomposition temperatures have been reported for these compounds. Al4Eu has a tetragonal structure of the Al4Ba type [64Kri], and Al2Eu has a cubic Cu2Mg- type structure [60Has].
