Ag-Sr (Silver-Strontium) M.R. Baren The assessed Ag-Sr phase diagram is based on the work of [70Heu] for compositions of 0 to 30 at.% Sr, and the remainder of the diagram is from [ 30Wei]. The following compounds have been identified: Ag5Sr, Ag4Sr, Ag2Sr, AgSr, Ag2Sr3, and Ag3Sr7. The compound designated as Ag5Sr3 by [30Wei] is probably the compound Ag2Sr identified by [65Kos]. The region of the diagram between 33.3 and 37.5 at.% Sr is therefore in doubt. The only reaction in the Sr-rich portion of the diagram as determined by [30Wei] is the eutectic reaction between (Sr) and Ag2Sr3 at 436 C and 76.5 at.% Sr. However, [84Mer] determined the existence of a new phase, Ag3Sr7, which probably forms peritectically at a temperature near the eutectic point.
